Associate. It is the determined policy of the company to provide quality
design solutions and practical advice, based on clearly stated

timeframes established for projects and guided by a QA System to ensure
quality projects are delivered on time. The company is active in
promoting architecture and design within the community. The awards are

Ten Carat Awards Best Wedding Reception Venue - Hunter Valley
Our work on this job was to
convert an old hay shed into a first class venue for a variety of uses,
particularly an interpretation and visitors centre and also a function
centre. We utilised our extensive experience in conservation and
adaptive re-use to ensure the heritage values of the building were
maintained while transforming the structure into something more
practical and comfortable for modern usage. This project also utilised
energy efficiency principles in the design. |

WARATAH FLOUR MILL, NSW
2003 UDIA NSW Award
for Excellence in Urban Renewal
On this job we took on
the creative adaptive reuse for the empty flour silos, turning them into
stunning high-class apartments. Included in the project was a large
scale public art sculpture, designed by artist Paul Martin specifically
for the space and utilising materials from the Flour Mill itself.

for the Masterplan, won by Baulderstone Hornibrook
Part of the Masterplan
was a heritage and conservation plan, which we prepared to guide the
future adaptive reuse of the site.

2006 NSW Tidy Town
Cultural Heritage Award won by Maitland City Council
This award included the
Maitland Gaol and precinct, for which we had undertaken conservation
studies and extensive conservation works.

2010 QLD Architecture William Hodgen Award for Building of the Year won
by Cox Rayner Architects
The architecture work was done by Cox Rayner Architects with ABM
Architects and we were the disability access consultants and advised on
the disability access requirements of the project, including preparation
of an Access Policy.
